What is the process to get married?
There are a few legal requirements which include you both being aged 18 or older (aged 16-18 requires a court order), both not be married to anyone else or immediately related. You are required to complete a Notice of Intent to Marry document and have that lodged with me at least 1 month prior to your wedding date. I will need to site your original identification documents and have you sign a few other legal docs. There are a few other requirements which I can explain when we chat.
How do we book you?
The process to book me is easy! Fill out the contact form with all of your info - names, date, time, location etc. and I will respond with my availability. Noting that warmer months in particular are very busy and I often get booked a year or more in advance. I'll then send you a quote and options (as the fee depends on a number of factors including where, the type of ceremony etc.) Then to lock in your date and time, I'll send you an invoice for the non refundable deposit of $300.
Then we meet and start planning for your big day!
Do you travel?
The simple answer is yes. I have traveled to marry couples up and down the east coast of Australia and various locations across NSW. As an authorised celebrant, I can marry couples anywhere in Australia including Australian air space and Australian waters.
